From Big Law to building forward.

I'm a New York-admitted attorney and the founder of Dextrous, a fractional general counsel practice built for founders and growing companies who need legal leadership without full-time overhead.

My career started at the intersection of technology, media, and corporate law. I trained as an intellectual property and technology transactions specialist at elite global law firms, where I negotiated high-stakes licensing and M&A deals for institutional clients across AI, healthcare, renewable energy, and media.

From there, I moved in-house — first as legal counsel to a fintech-focused venture capital firm, then as Associate General Counsel and Head of Data Privacy at a publicly traded fintech company. In that role, I served as lead counsel through a $6 billion business combination and subsequent NASDAQ listing via SPAC, while building and leading the company's global data privacy function and advising product teams on the frontiers of AI/ML implementation.

I went on to serve as General Counsel for a portfolio of media and creative companies, where I acted as sole legal counsel on a strategic acquisition — managing the entire transaction lifecycle from diligence through close.

In January 2025, I founded Dextrous to bridge the gap between traditional outside counsel and a full-time in-house department. Today, I work as embedded fractional GC for a range of startups and creative companies, while also serving as ongoing legal and strategic advisor to an artistic estate — managing intellectual property strategy and licensing across a decades-spanning creative archive.

I hold a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, with a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School, and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. I'm based in Brooklyn, New York.
